Certified for use with e-bikes, the Kortal MIPS meets the Dutch standard NTA8776, which tests helmets at impact speeds exceeding those of standard cycling. Currently, this is the only standard for e-bike helmets.

In the event of a collision, the patented detachable visor releases from the helmet, helping to protect against neck injuries. It pairs perfectly with Devour trail sunglasses or Ora enduro sunglasses, allowing you to extend your protection and sharpen your senses.

The visor extends high enough on the helmet to allow glasses to fit underneath when not in use. It is specifically designed so that the glasses strap does not cover any of the ventilation openings.
